Roberto has always said the most important part of a still-life is the “life” rather than the “still.” Born in Rio De Janeiro, Roberto has shot a variety of worldwide campaigns, working alongside notable agencies such as TBWA, DDB, Publicis, Ogilvy, Saatchi & Saatchi.

As a fashion photographer, from the beginning, he found in studio-based still life, a dimension that inspired him to meticulously construct each image with the intention of giving the viewer room for interpretation and placing them in the story. His work is cinematic and thoughtful with an uncommonly clean, graphic quality.

Roberto’s rendition of the mythical Dior bag featured in the exhibit “Lady Dior As seen By,” demonstrates his mastery of bringing cinema to photography. Advertising clients include: YSL, Prada, MiuMiu, Givenchy, Chloé, Chivas, KaDeWe, Cartier, McDonalds, Absolut, Toyota, Nespresso, Lacoste, Petit Bateau, Hennessy, Dior.
